Telemedicine by

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, we are seeing a much smaller number of clients in person.   Seeing patients one on one still carries risk, even with the extra sanitizing of all surfaces between clients and the protective masks. I have asked clients to only come in if they feel the session is vital for their health, and am happy to see people under these circumstances.  Hours have been reduced to only Tuesday and Friday mornings.

***For all EXISTING patients, we are now offering HIPPA compliant Telemedicine visits.  These sessions usually run 45 minutes, and include check-ins about health matters, dietary and herbal recommendations, self-acupressure and/or moxa treatments, and guided meditations as appropriate.  Clients who have utilized this to date have felt it to be very helpful in keeping health goals on track and in having health questions answered. Existing clients must initiate/ask for the session, so please reach out if you feel this will be helpful for you and your health goals***

We have suspended all in person classes and workshops, and are offering select online zoom based classes - please see the "Events" page to check our offerings.

About Us

Picture
Jared Urchek, M.Ac, L.Ac, CZB  received his bachelors degree in 2010 from Naropa University (Interdisciplinary Studies: Psychology, Environmental Studies, and Eastern Arts).  In his studies at Naropa, he was very grateful to be introduced to the world of Worsley Five-Element acupuncture.

Jared proceeded to enroll in and graduate from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture (ITEA) in 2014, where he focused deeply in the study of Five-Element medicine, the theory, and how to apply it in acupuncture treatments.  Specialized projects also included organizing and running auricular detoxification (ear acupuncture) clinics for veterans groups as well as the local homeless shelter.

Through ITEA, Jared was introduced to the world of Zero Balancing, an type of bone-centered massage, and continued with the Zero Balancing certification track. He now offers Five-Element Acupuncture, Zero Balancing, and also a growing line of medicinal mushroom and herbal products.

Jared also practices Tai Chi (Yang short form), plays around with bonsori bamboo flute, is a Master Level Reiki practitioner, and has been practicing healing arts since 2003. When he's not in the clinic, you can usually find him wandering the local woods in search of beautiful places, native plants, and useful medicinal fungi.
