Community Acupuncture

What is Community Acupuncture?

Community Acupuncture offers a serene and low-key treatment environment, perfect for those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.

This option is not only cost-effective but also provides an opportunity for more consistent acupuncture sessions. It's ideal for individuals looking for a gentle tune-up or those who prefer less conversation during their treatments.

What to Expect

In Community Acupuncture sessions, multiple individuals receive treatment simultaneously - in a tranquil atmosphere conducive to relaxation. I set the needles and then provide space for each person to unwind and enjoy the therapeutic effects.

While Community Acupuncture offers a quieter experience with less dialogue, please note that treatments are less personalized compared to our one-on-one services. Nonetheless, it remains a wonderful way to receive acupuncture in a communal setting, where individuals can collectively experience relaxation and healing.

Group Acupuncture is a good fit for you if you have:
  • Neck, back, & joint pain
  • Chronic pain
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • PTSD
  • Digestive Problems
  • Sleep & insomnia
  • Headaches
  • Many more symptoms and ailments - please inquire for more detail

Choose your payment (based on the ranges above) based on what feels right for you after your session.

We take insurance for those patients whose insurance covers acupuncture.  However, if your plan only covers a limited number of treatments, (say, 10 or 15 treatments per year) it may be best to use those for full one-hour sessions and pay this out of pocket. The choice is always yours.

I am a provider with:
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
I also take GEHA, some United plans, and a few other plans out-of-network. This will vary on each individual plan.

All insurance coverage is subject to each individual's plan, including deductible, etc.
We must treat the body, the mind, and the spirit as a whole - and when we do this, people can reach a full and deep sense of health and well-being.
